When it comes to the topic of school dress codes, most of us will agree that students should wear appropriate clothing. Where this argument usually ends, however, is on the question of how strict the dress code is. While some are convinced that schools should enforce a strict dress code, others are convinced that students should have complete freedom over their clothing choices. Schools should not have a dress code. Schools should not have a dress code because they violate the rights of students. Enforcing a dress code is like arresting someone who did nothing wrong. They wrongly take away the rights of students, who did nothing wrong. Since clothing can be seen as a form of free speech/expression, dress codes impinge on the rights of students
