School Dress Code? School across the U.S need dress codes because it is very effective. Schools productivity and safety has increased. Dress codes make schools and learning less distracting and no one gets judged or discriminated. Schools uniforms are mostly less expensive than regular clothing and its time-saving. Schools productivity has increased and so did its safety. As a result of school uniforms past decade with school dress code, there were fewer disruptions, fewer suspicion and better attendance (Doc E). The Student also may also become more self-confident and self-discipline (Doc E). This is good because students can be more successful in exams or the district test. Safety has also gone up by criminal incident

Some clothing can be distracting because it's visible or shiny (Doc B). It is important that students wear a school uniform so there are balance and equality among the students. School uniforms help to eliminate bullying due to the fact that everyone is dressed the same. Next, Clothing these days can have bad words or symbols which do not school appropriate or can offensive to someone.These issues can be reduced by school uniforms. Plus there is also plenty of time to wear other clothes outside of school and work(Doc B). School uniforms are less expensive and saves families time.In 1999 parent in the US spends about 1.5 billion dollars in clothing!(Doc E) Just two years before it was half a billion so it tripled. School Uniform probably costs only about 10 or 20 dollars, which talking about other clothing the uniforms cost less. Uniforms are cost effective than regular apparel(Doc F). It is also time-saving because simplifies the clothing selection process, making getting dressed in the mornings a whole lot faster and easier(Doc F).
