Personal Narrative: My First Day At The Gym

The gym, it feels so natural, so free, like my new second home. My words when I went to the gym for the first time. I loved the gym. I wanted to be big and strong just like the people around. Yeah I didn’t fit in quite yet but how hard can it be? They all did it, so can I. So there I went, I started my first day at the gym. As many of you can see when you look at my arms that look like spaghetti noodles or my biceps looking like a bean my gym craze stopped after that first time. I lifted hard that day. And the next day I was wishing what little muscle I had would fall off. I decided I 'd take a break from lifting and maybe start in a week or a decade or so. That embarrassment is something nobody should have to go through. So, today I 'm going to tell you how not to be noticed at the gym. From this you will learn about people with huge upper bodies and small lower, girls lifting a lot more than guys, and the science behind blender bottles at the gym.

The first time at the gym for most of us deals with a lot of staring at muscles we didn’t know existed and looking at machines and stuff that we would never be able to figure out.

For those of you that are like me and don 't know much on this topic ill explain what a blender bottle is. It is a special bottle with a metal springy ball in it meant for mixing protein and Creatine and all sorts of muscle building supplements. When nine out of ten people in the gym are carrying these things around then that gets you thinking maybe you shouldn 't even be in there without one. Because they have gotten so popular for lifters a lot of them have separation anxiety from them and end up taking them everywhere all the time.
