Since the dawn of human civilization, establishing cultural and societal connection via forms of communication has remained to be a crucial aspect of life. For instance, Ancient Egyptians communicated by the art of symbolism. Down the line, Greeks civilization developed writings along with the use of tablet. As the human civilization becomes more sophisticate in behavior, others forms and techniques of communication were developed. People were switching to the use of letters, telegraph and telephone. Until one day, the internet appears. To an extent, it is safe to say that the internet has given birth to a new age of technology and made tracks for future innovation. Social network is born at arguably the peak of such revolution. With the help of modern technology, social networking has become a common and friendly way for people to communicate with one another. Social networking has dominated the world and its people on their daily lives. Recently, a study done by Das and Sahoo (2010) state that a thirteen year span from 1997 to 2010 documented more than 1.5 billion users of social networking websites (p.222). The effects of social network have indeed created many significant impacts on the lives of many people, especially the students.
