Soccer is played around the world in many different countries and is known as “futbol” outside the United States. The oldest soccer club in the world is Sheffield, which is in South Yorkshire, England. This soccer club was created in 1857, 6 years before soccer rules were even created. Soccer is the most played sport around the world and is watched and played by at least 1.3 billion people around the world.
