In Shakespear’s play “Romeo and Juliet” everyone feels bad for the two lovers who die so close to victory but what if it was really Romeo’s fault.“Romeo and Juliet” is a play written by William Shakespear that portrays two star crossed lovers who will die because of actions not of their control. The main characters are Romeo and Juliet and they will stop at nothing for their love, unfortunately this will be their downfall.Romeo is the reason for the deaths of all the people in the play because he follows his young inexperienced heart that has already jumped from one girl to Juliet proving that he was not really in love with either of them. First off romeo has got to have a little common sense when picking who he wants to marry. It’s like …show more content…
Mercutio sees this and makes fun of romeo for being so blinded by her. “Alas poor Romeo, he is already dead: stabbed with a white wench’s black eye;run through the ear with a love song”(2.4.14-16). This shows that his friends are seeing how this thing with juliet could be his undoing with Tybolt. If romeo would stop chasing his love at such a young age then he and many others would live longer lives. Although this will not be his last mistake it is still a big mistake that will cause great pain for many people. Last but not least his unwillingness to fight tybolt will bring the downfall of many people including himself. Tybolt comes looking for romeo to fight him for showing up at the capulet party but romeo refuses to fight him. “Tybolt, the reason I have to love thee Doth much excuse the appertaining rage to such a greeting”(3.1.59-61).Had romeo fought Tybolt in the first place and killed him or beat him to submission then Mercutio wouldn’t have died and romeo wouldn’t be dead either. This shows that had he fought tybolt he would have saved lives in the long run. All in all romeo is to blame because he was irresponsible and unrealistic about what could happen between himself and romeo.he should have understood that the capulets would not allow him to marry her and would try to kill him instead. This all leads to the conclusion that romeo was to blame for the deaths of

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

He wants to marry Juliet, almost after half a dozen hours of meeting her, right after Tybalt vowed revenge, a day after the third city brawl between the Capulets and the Montagues, and after the prince 's last warning. He should have waited until the heat and level of danger died down, if he did it would’ve been smoother for him and juliet, and since he didn’t, he led himself to death, as well as Juliet as she is a lady and is not allowed to leave her household other than to go to church. The First example of this is shown when Mercutio and Benvolio are sitting around a fountain on a hot day and talk about Romeo, misinterpreting his disappearance as sadness for Rosaline, believing that he is Mad and in no shape to fight Tybalt.…
