Causes For Romeo And Juliet’s Death
“From Forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star-crossed lovers take their lives”.
Romeo and Juliet is an 16th Century play written by William Shakespeare. The Play Portraits the life of two star-crossed lovers as they live hiding their love in fear and secret from their feuding families, the Capulets and the Montagues. This Path ultimately leads to the two lover’s horrible death, but what were the factors and events leading up to this ending?
In the end it can only be said that the causes of Romeo and Juliet’s Death is due to the feud between the Capulets and Montagues, their own carelessness and impatience and as well as miscommunication.

He wants to marry Juliet, almost after half a dozen hours of meeting her, right after Tybalt vowed revenge, a day after the third city brawl between the Capulets and the Montagues, and after the prince 's last warning. He should have waited until the heat and level of danger died down, if he did it would’ve been smoother for him and juliet, and since he didn’t, he led himself to death, as well as Juliet as she is a lady and is not allowed to leave her household other than to go to church.
Third is miscommunication. All throughout the play there is miscommunication between characters as they try to express feelings toward one another or send a message but is misinterpreted by the other character, leading to the path that was shown in the play. The First example of this is shown when Mercutio and Benvolio are sitting around a fountain on a hot day and talk about Romeo, misinterpreting his disappearance as sadness for Rosaline, believing that he is Mad and in no shape to fight Tybalt.
Scene 2.4.4-5, 13-16:
Mercutio-
Why, that same pale hard-hearted wench, that Rosaline, Torments him so, that he will sure run mad. …show more content…
Tybalt is misunderstanding Romeo’s talk of peace, he believes that Romeo is insulting and trying to embarrass him, while this is happening, Mercutio believes that Romeo has gone mad and is still depressed and sad for Rosaline and unable to fight, so he challenges Tybalt leading to him being killed. Mercutio was killed because he and Tybalt both misinterpreted Romeo, and this was the final straw for the Prince who banished Romeo, leading Romeo and Juliet to their doom.
So in the end, it has been shown over and over again that the cause of Romeo and Juliet death is due to the Feud, the carelessness and impatience of the two lovers, and the miscommunication between everyone. If it wasn 't for the Feud, none of this would 've happened, Romeo and Juliet would have had a proper chance at love. If they weren 't careless and impatient, they could have married when the heat died down. Lastly if everyone could have seen what people were truly saying, instead of being blinded by different emotions, they could 've understood the situation and what was happening and truly being
