Self Serving In Animal Farm

In the book Animal Farm the pigs are self-serving and how they take control with their power. The pigs are very educated with them being able taking control of the farm. The pigs are trying to get power and overthrew Jones. The uneducated animals never know what is going on around them and they get burned by the pigs. The uneducated animals are in a dangerous position because they don’t know what is going on. The life of the animals is changed by the time spent on how the pigs are self serving,the educated animals, and the uneducated animals. The pigs are self-serving and smarter than the other animals. In the novel, the pigs only care about themselves. They ran things very strong with their power, and believed in there seven commandments. The pigs were changing the seven commandments trying to get the other animals on the farm in trouble. Then they change the commandment to “four legs good, two legs bad”(Orwell 134). Since the pigs have four legs than they are in good power with their four legs. There are not a lot of animals educated on the farm. There are only two animals that are educated on the farm. The animals that are educated are the pigs, and the dogs. The dogs are the private police force, but they keep them in good safety. The pigs have great power and try to take over the farm. There are the sheep, chickens, horses, cows, and Donkey’s. Those are the most uneducated people in the story. It is very dangerous whenever they do not know what is going on behind them because they can’t read. “What he has done since is different. But I believe that at the Battle of the Cowshed he was a good comrade”(81). The Animals did not like Snowball as a leader. They knew he was not that educated and wanted him out.
