From the day we are born, until the day we die, we are taught and held responsible for being responsible of ourselves. We must consider this unwritten, but ever so powerful code that applies to our daily lives and interactions at all times. We need to do what is right and take action even when no one is looking. As students, parents, children, teachers, friends, and family, we all must maintain a personal responsibility of ourselves as we serve the community we are part of.

Rules and laws are in place in all aspects of our lives to protect us and the people around us. Without these rules and laws there would be no order or peace in the world. This includes everything from a Class A Felony all the way down to a schools policy about tobacco use. We don 't always agree, and we may not always abide, but thats human nature. We all make mistakes and the only determination of whether or not any disciplinary action takes place is whether or not we get caught. That being said, its not about getting caught or being reprimanded. The only thing that matters is knowing before you make that mistake that what you are about to do is wrong and being able to stop. The saying, “nobody is perfect” really is true. I have been blessed with strong supporters and great guidance throughout my whole life. My parents, siblings, friends and teachers have all helped me become the person I am today and helped me build upon that set of personal morals. With that being said, I strongly believe that…
