As the youth, students, young adults, we are responsible for making life changing decisions that mold the future of our lives. These decisions serve as the reflective mirror on our character and what holds as moral ground. The perception that we attain is weighed by the actions we take, positive or negative; fore we are our thoughts, judged by our actions, and understood through voice. It is important to carry these ideals to ensure an impact that will create a better future for coming generations, especially in our own communities. Through positive demonstration, or even the slightest initiative, a strong influence could carry into our adult lives and alter the fabric of the environment that helped shape us.

A plethora of young adults and adolescents can be found roaming the streets at any given time of the day, or night. If there were recreational centers such as a YMCA, or a sports facility, there would be a decline in organized crime and jaywalking. For children that have no parental figure or mentor in their lives, it could easily improve the structure of their mentality, actions, and general outlook on life by ten fold. However, the plumbing crisis seems to be another aspect that the town’s representatives and leaders are ignoring. The infrastructure and layout of the pipes in certain areas of neighborhoods have caused houses to flood, produce mold, and drain sewage in front and backyard. Unpleasant experiences such as these are not only embarrassing, but ludicrous when having hopes of creating a more efficient
