Especially if there was getting to be too little of one group of animals, he and his father would altogether stop hunting it until there was a sufficient number. Yet both of his parents had together raised him to be interested in the nature of things. How natural arrangements could be there for a reason, to be appreciative. More of a down to earth, practical view on all life. Which seemed to come in handy, you didn’t need to have a degree in anything to be able to tell if something is moral or not, it should be indisputable. No excuse or justification needed. All of these different life lessons he received from youth lead him to be a no-nonsense child. If there was something that needed to be done, do it, or stop complaining. If something wasn’t right, he wasn’t afraid to speak his mind and get it fixed. Nothing should get in the way of you doing the necessary action when it needed to be taken, even if it was intimidating.
