We could be part of a solution to this potentially great nation. They need our input as we are young dedicated team that will find solutions for their health that will in turn help them to restore their nation and strengthen their economy once again. In our mission, we will help to build structures that will help to endure future earthquakes and hurricanes. We will also work in child care centers, public health and educational programs. Moreover, our team will assist in building infrastructure, help in new agriculture, infrastructure and new technology innovations to help build a new sustainable economy. Our national office will provide us with decent housing, food and travel expenses. There will be no payments as this will be a purely volunteer exercise, but students who will register through career services will get 3 credits. I know the 6 weeks is a short period of time and we can’t cover every problem. Now,,, I have seen lots of people pain and suffer in situations like these but when you show up and give the hand of aid and see just the smile on their faces at that moment you will be delighted that all the efforts you’ve put made someone happy. Believe me Nothing in this life is better than making others happy. Therefore, I take this opportunity to urge you to join me in this noble and human cause and may you be blessed. Thank

The Non Profit Organization I used to work for had a specific mission to shoot documentaries about the physical and educational needs of some schools in the country and send them to some prestigious international philanthropic organizations to collect funds.…

As soon as people know that I’m Haitian, I get flooded with questions that I highly doubt they want the answers to: “Why is Haiti so poor?” “Do you do voodoo?” “Where does all the relief money go?”…

I was personally affected by one of the worst tragedies to ever strike the planet, and I’m happy to say that I survived, and it changed me for the better. After this, I decided that I wanted to devote myself to the betterment of Haiti and the preservation of our distinct culture. Haiti still isn’t back together, people just stopped paying attention.
