Haiti, a Caribbean country on the island of Espanola, is a promising site for development and industry. Although the country has had some hardships, such as natural disasters and historic conflicts with France and the U.S., it has been able to step up in the industrial ladder as a textile-producing and sugar refining country. This is promising for its economy, and should be able to help the development of the country under certain conditions, for example, Haiti being able to trade with more developed countries and export more products.
