My mom made it very clear that she got in arguments with my dad a lot more after they had their first child. Before having my sister their differences seemed minute. However, after having my sister their differences impacted their relationship on a much larger scale. They would often argue about what was important and what was not, and who wasn’t doing enough and who was doing everything. The argument would always end with my mom saying that my father needed to grow up. However, by the time that they had me they had learned how to work with each other. My mom and dad became closer with each child that they had, because they had to spend time with each other when doing family activities and going on family outings. Communication and a social interactions were hard for them in the beginning. However, it definitely got easier as time went by.
Overall, having kids definitely improved my parents. It taught them how to be responsible and how to have a strong work ethic. After my mom had my older sister, she went back to nursing school. Before having children my mom and dad would often quit jobs and jump from one little job to another little job. My mom said if it wasn’t for her having kids she would of never became be a registered nurse, and she wouldn’t have the stable life that she has today. In conclusion having kids changed my parent’s life in the best ways
