In my childhood, I read many interesting comic books from preschool, which is still on my mind. The first comic book I read was Bo Con, translated into English is Lost Calf. My teacher has guided me in reading books by interesting in-class reading resources such as How Reading Changed My Life by Anna Quindlen, and Saved by Malcolm X. I love Anna’s quote “All of reading is really only finding the ways to name ourselves, and, perhaps, to name the others around us so that they will no longer seem like strangers.” Additionally, Saved by Malcom X gives me inspiration through his homemade education in prison. Moreover, she inspired me to read more in order to change my life better. After a month, I start my passion in reading books again. From my friend’s recommendation, I am reading Men Are from Mars, and Women Are from Venus by John Gray, and Outliers – The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell.
