My motivation for writing can be purely out of boredom, if something interesting has happened to me, or anything and everything in-between. Nonetheless, I prefer to write informational, persuasive and argumentative essays, and editorials rather than pieces that are more focused on me or a certain character, such as narrative essays. Although writing has given me a freeing creative outlet, it can also turn stressful. This is because writing, in my opinion, is meant to be inspired and innovative, yet sometimes the essay can begin to feel forced and dull. Also, the best environment for me to learn and work in is an active classroom, in which I can become involved in learning, rather than just receiving the information. A method I prefer to become active is by having a classroom discussion, sharing work with my peers, and working in small groups so every student can participate. Additionally, my eagerness to learn comes from my drive and high hopes of my future as I foresee becoming a successful dermatologist. Although I use my bright plans for my future as motivation for completing and giving my all into my work, it also forces me to tend to overthink and fret over every assignment. The aforementioned is also why I consider the motive I have to be a great strength, yet an even bigger weakness. This year, I intend to become less worried and stressed over school, especially when the matter is not crucial to my academic performance.
