Rattus Ebola Virus (REV) is an emerging viral hemorrhagic disease that is making a lot of noise through out the nation. REV, which is classified under the family of Ebolavirus, is a deadly virus vectored by Anophels bradleyi mosquito and has almost a 99% mortality rate. The disease is extremely fatal, and there have been no medical treatment that has any positive effects. It is critical to the break the chain between the links of this virus immediately to prevent any further fatalities. In order to attempt to control and stop the spread of the disease, the investigation team had to decide which link would be better to break and which would be easier to control. After looking at the links, we decided that the link between the vector and the human hosts …show more content…
The link between the vector, Anopheles bradleyi, and the human hosts can be broken using several techniques. We believe that by breaking this link in the chain, we are able to receive less numbers of people that get the disease, Rattus Ebola virus (REV), that appears mostly in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. That is the area of control we will monitor and break to get the best outcome possible in eradicating this disease.
Through purposeful thoughts, and weeks of researching and planning, the one area that we’ve chosen to focus on is the area of controlling the vector through the implementation of mosquitoes insecticides. The goal of insecticides are to break the chain of contact between the vector and its human hosts. The vector that we will be insecticide, is the mosquito species of Anophels bradleyi. Specific areas of the cities that will have the implementation of the adulticides will be informed and briefed about the management plan prior to the start of the
