Casting people of color in a white story takes all limits off for anyone viewing this.
III. The musical centers not only on the men who became founding fathers but also on the women of that time. A. The women in this show are anything but silent. 1. Eliza continually stands up for herself and manages to secure his husband’s legacy in American history. 2. Angelica is as smart as the founding fathers and knows that the only thing holding her back is being a woman. 3. The two, with their sister Peggy Schuyler, preach about equality. B. The musical shows that while the men of history are important for what they have done for America, some of their stories would not have even been told if not for the women of that
