This is fresco. This name is The School of Athens. Raffaello Sanzio drew at 1509-1511 on the wall. Raffaello is Italian. Fuesco find at Stanza della Segnatura, in Vatican. There are 59 people in the fresco and all of them important person in the world.
He went at Urbino when Papa 2. Julius' architect recomnended Raffaello at Papa. Papa called artist because papa made a different fresco on the wall of Vatican library. After that Papa choosed Rafael. Rafael thinked to put famous philosophers' pictures on the wall. After that he made this fresco. He used conjunctive matter to mixing on the plaster and he used colouring materials.
Rafael made this fresco because idea died down for his so he wanted to prevent this problem with his fresco. At beginning,
