All my life I have been interested in communication. I originally thought that communication was just a passion, but now I realize it is what I want to do as a career. Public relations is the communication between an organization and the public. I want to act as that link of communication and I truly believe I can do so with the education I am receiving from the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism.
My interest in public relations was sparked in high school with the clubs and activities in which I was involved. In today’s job market, especially in journalism, it is important to be multi-faceted. A career in public relations allows me to be a writer, an event planner, a designer, and so much more. There are no limits on a career in public relations, this is the major reason I chose this
