Westinghouse College Expectations

Decent Essays
I’d like to think I'm a good candidate for Westinghouse College Prep because I am eager to learn. I am very committed and ardent when it comes to school. I don’t dread going to school every morning and I don’t wish the school would somehow combust into flames so that there’d be no more school. I’d be the student that tries to participate or join a lot of clubs. I’d be the student that likes to discuss their ideas or answers with the classrooms. I’d be the student that helps out other students with anything or asks questions when I am having trouble understanding something. I’m also the student who gets probably too over excited when writing essays. I also think I have a lot of things to hopefully offer if I am accepted into this great school.

The alternative though, which I am sure I am still very content with, is becoming a journalist or maybe even a novelist. I dream of one day running a successful blog while sipping tea out of a nice mug. I dream of working at an office writing about the nation’s newest news. I dream of writing about the political debates happening and informing people of which politician said what. I dream of graduating from college with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I dream of achieving great things while doing the thing I love. My dreams consist of, generally, just being successful and content with life and with this amazing opportunity, I have no doubts that these dreams will not only just be dreams, but a

My decision to apply to Western Washington University comes from my inspiration to achieve what I envision my self-becoming someday. Up to this point in my college education, life has been and up and down ride, definitely not what I had envisioned. But the one thing I’ve always kept true to myself is who I see myself becoming in the future. I made choices I thought would help me achieve those goals I previously had set out.…
