Texas Open–Carry Law Pros and Cons
Texas is among the 46 US states that have permitted open carrying of handguns. This provision was passed into law in 2016 January 1. Before then, the citizens of Texas were obliged to abide by an order of carrying handguns secretly together with the valid Concealed Handgun License (CHL).
