Great post! There are so many drugs that are illegal, yet it seems that the ones that do the most damage are the ones that are legal. Prescription drugs are abused so much, especially by younger generations. Pain killers and tranquilizer medications like xanax are even mixed in with alcohol in order for a stronger and better high. Many people overdose on these medications yet pharmaceutical companies try and make them more available to the public. I agree on your response about how cigarettes and alcohol are population controllers. Cigarettes are awful, and I think it is good that the media has slightly changed the way cigarettes are advertised.
