Practitioner-Client Bond Reflection

Since my clients and I never had that practitioner-client bond, it was odd for me in the beginning. Also, this intervention is new between my client and I, and they were not use to me approaching them with questions like such. At first I felt a bit nervous because I wasn’t sure if I was asking the right questions at the right time. Even when I did ask them for their feedback, I felt awkward asking them because it sounded like I was making it about me. I was taking additional time away from the session to see how they felt my service delivery and although that’s important, I felt selfish. Furthermore, I was worried that they might say something negative and I didn’t know how I was going to handle that feedback. While using FIT, it taught
