Exercise is a free time activity that helps children to feel good about every aspect of the health definition. This is going have the effect on children in the ways of; their physical health, mental health, and the way that exercise helps in the classroom. This is going to result in the healthier living of children all around the world, cutting down on the problems such as obesity and unhealthy living of children. In fact, exercise is one of the most important parts of keeping your body at a healthy weight. Exercise helps children lose weight and lower the risk of some diseases. Physical health is a main focus when looking at the effects of exercise. Physical health in children has become a large epidemic. Exercise also helps young children to improve their gross motor skills, including running, kicking, throwing, and …show more content…
Keeping kids active at school is a superb way to increase learning, focus and even test results. When looking at an article from ABCNews Naperville Central High School west of Chicago ha students that struggle in math. Research has shown that after 30 minutes on the treadmill, students solve problems up to 10 percent more effectively. “What we 're trying to do here is jump start their brain," says Paul Zientarski, chairman of the Physical Education Department at Naperville. By having a physical education class at the beginning of the day, students are going to be able to be more awake and alert when entering the classroom after their first period. A teacher at Naperville has their students perform a “brain break” whenever he believes that his students are zoning out or not in tuned with the lesson. By applying physical activity to students daily school routines, the effects are going to benefit students by improving their grades. For most students, this effect and benefit seem to add up
