Poem Analysis: Cardiac Arrest

Cardiac Arrest Love is just not a word but an action that could mean a lot more to a person. Like when you see your loved ones and huge them. So when you’re that passionate and have the love you feel very emotional to that person. The theme is explaining how affectionate you’re to your loved ones and how you’ll do anything to save them. Like whenever you have been trying to keep your mind in place but can’t because, you’re thinking how your loved ones are. Even when you’re not thinking about them you just can’t stop. So therefore you feel this connection like never before felt, and want to spend every hour, minute, second with them. With all that it explains how the song is explaining the connection of how affectionate you’re to your loved ones. So therefore the imagery states “I’ve been trying to keep my grip”. So the definition that makes it an imagery is the key word grip. Also the hyperbole defines “like cardiac arrest, high voltage in her lips”. Means that the voltage in her lips is an overstatement so that key word gives it away as a hyperbole. Lastly the last literary element is simile that states “like cardiac arrest, high voltage in her lips”. So the definition of the simile is that its comparing to unlike things because it’s using like as
