A transitional object is an object that a child has absolute control over when he/she is still learning about their core values from their parents. It also teaches them how to act and how to manipulate the outer world with their own body. The object is there to help the child learn about the outer world, an object that lies in the outer world, but a big part of the child inner world. Usually this object would be a toy that a child would want to play with as children will be more likely to carry this object with them more often. The system seems logical, but the method of measuring the student is flawed as too many components of the system are unreliable. Teachers, testing system, grading system, can all be flawed to accurately decide how much a student has learned. Not only that, some people have different ideas what a grade number is.
