A Maryland Attorney, General Gansler was getting backlash from the media for being seen at his teens graduation party. The parents of the teens gave them a “safe place to party” with a list of rules. “ No driving, no swimming after dark, no girls behind closed doors, no hard drugs or alcohol, and assigned two dads to chaperone a night.” What was left of the list of rules was drinking beer and wine. A mother of three children said “But if you truly banned it at a house, so they couldn't come over and drink at all, they'd just go and drink someplace else.” If you give teens a safe place to party and have fun with supervision they are less likely to put themselves or others in harm.
