Personal Narrative: The First Step Toward Change

Change happens everywhere, and most of the time, it is very hard to deal with. For me, I hated moving. It was difficult to think that I had to a leave the place where I grew up for most of my life. And then when it happened, it did not get any better. “The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.”

The house I lived in before I moved was very nice. It wasn’t a mansion, just a two story house. But it met my needs, such as a room to myself, and a large backyard. I grew up in that house for the most part, and really enjoyed living there. But then I learned that we were going to move to another house. At first I did not believe them. I couldn’t.
