It is a culmination of the effort I expended from the time I was a tiger cub to the moment my mother pinned it on my breast. It’s my Eagle Scout medal, and it’s my greatest achievement. My most formative experience was the year I spent as senior patrol leader, and it was crucial to my achievement of this medal. I was a mere sophomore, who was tasked with turning around a declining troop, sometimes having to make some difficult decisions.
