Remembering an Event I have been in scouts almost my whole life. I have even achieved the highest rank in boy scouts which is known as Eagle Scout. When I was trying to become an Eagle Scout I had to do many things, but one of the many was a project. The project I had picked was meant to help others in the community. When I had to pick a project I had to keep a few things in mind like who do I do it for and what will it be. After thinking I realized I wanted to do something for the Lynchburg Elementary School, because they always help the scouts in the past so I wanted to do something nice for them. From there I had to figure out what I was going to do so that I could have it all approved by the school system. After a few days I finally figured out what I would like to do, I wanted to make a pavilion …show more content…
After I added up all the money needed to build a 20x30 pavilion I knew it was going to take some time to earn the money, because it was going to cost me 3000 dollars to build. After a year of fundraising I finally had the money to get started on it, but there was one problem I had to build it with in the summer before the next school year stared. Once school was out I had to get started fast so I recruited help from my family, and friend so that I could get this done within the time I had been given. On the Monday after school got out I got to work on building. When I initially began Boy Scouts, I largely depended on my brother and his friends for help and assistance. Eventually, my brother and his friends around his age graduated, and while many moved on to serve as adult leaders, all of them eventually left for college. With this large amount of support missing from my usual routine, I felt lost for a significant amount of time, before I participated in a Philmont trek in the summer before my freshman year of high school. During the Philmont trek, as the youngest member of the crew, I felt highly unprepared due to my overall lack of experience with high adventure and large amounts of leadership; however, despite developing a blister on the first day, I found solace with my crew as they taught me valuable skills that would help me survive the journey. From their exemplary leadership and teachings, I quickly learned not only how to help myself, but also how to assist and guide others as a leader.…

At first I wasn’t sure what I would do my senior project on. I went through choice and choice and after not being able to go to 2 of my choices I decided I really want to do something with construction. So I asked my counselor and he asked me what I would really be interested in, something I would like to do besides my 24/7 hobby of singing. So I told him I want to try and do something with construction. A few problems I ran into during search for a project/interest of mine was, too much thinking, talking about many things to do but none seemed as interesting as I thought they would be.…

This 3rd nine weeks we did Entrepreneurship, I learned many knowledgeable things about being an entrepreneur in America or in the real world. The mousse consists of heavy whipping cream and either chocolate or strawberry syrup. My all around favorite part of the project was making the mousse.…
