Scholarship, leadership, character, and service has shaped me to the person I am today. Today, I am involved in my community, top ten student, and a leader in my school. Although, this would have occurred without the four pillars of National Honor Society. As a child, I wanted to be a member of the National Honor Society but it was only a dream. Shortly after I had imagined myself as a member, my parents had passed away in a car accident. The accident changed my mentality of who I wanted to be. A young girl with hopes, dreams, and ambition to have a wonderful career was now a young girl that believe she couldn’t move forward without her parents.
