Being a college student brings on a lot of expenses that I was not prepared for. Being one the first in my family to attend college, I did not have the guidance to help me transition into a college student. Until doing further research I did not realize how much help was available for financing education. Primary, I will be using this scholarship for books and any outstanding tuition that needs to be paid. Also, I will be commuting to and from school.
