I would define unconscious racism as having only known that way of thinking since a person was young. I believe that if a person grew up only knowing that racism was just a way of life then they wont know any better. It is still wrong but its hard to change a person when it is all they have known in their life. I also do believe that this is a major problem. People learn from a young age the racial stereotypes and other discriminatory things. They unknowingly do it. This is why I agree with McKinstry when she says that,” hearts can be changed” through education. It is classes like this very one that bring up the issues that need to be talked about among society. Educating people on the matters of discrimination can help against them by showing peace and
