1.1 About the Study
GJ Kids Group is an experienced global chemical distributor that provides creative and innovative sourcing solutions, quality raw materials and product alternatives to industry manufacturers in the Philippines.
Over the years they have established themselves as reliable and reputable sellers of industrial and fine chemicals serving industries all over the Philippines. Their key markets include the soap and detergent industry, paints and coatings industry, and food industry. Their sources of supply include both domestic and foreign producers.

1.5 Significance of the Study
The developed system shall provide the Sulphonation Plant of the company, GJKids, with an automated payroll system, that will help its supervisors in doing their secondary job of doing the payroll for those people under them. More so, this aims to help the company in its growth by providing a system that would evolve in terms of its capacity in handling the number of employees (which is relatively low as of he ever changing laws that govern this process.

How is this study significant to the IT Industry?
The study is aimed to use an expert system, which is a field vastly evolving in the world of Information Technology. By taking up this field of study, the researchers will be able to take one step forward in improving, and probably taking up various ways to tackle expert systems, and Artificial Intelligence in its entirety.

What is the study’s importance toward education?
The study helps education by allowing both students, and teachers, to have a reference point for their study in systems such as these. This also helps in the improvement for producing both documentation, and code generation.

How will the study help future researchers?
The study will help future researchers as it can be used a reference for their future project/studies. It would also allow those researchers to further improve and develop on the system that will be generated by this group.
