I appreciate that you value math and how important it is in regards to developing critical thinking at such an early age. By having students make their own problems not only makes them relate it to their personal experiences, but also shows understanding of the topic. I know must students don’t like math, but if they are able to make the connection to themselves, they would value it more. The P21 Toolkit will help teacher meet the needs of the 21st century learner. They will be able to apply the skills they learn early on to throughout their life.
