Organizational architecture is a strategic planning initiative of the day-to-day activities or the foundation and structure in which the business operates. Moreover, it is the organization’s arrangement of systems of authority, specific departments within the company, and the responsibility and duties of those specific positions. Furthermore, the primary goal of organizational architecture is to ensure the overall success of the company by creating value to customers and all aspects of the company. Corporate culture is the way employees and management interact with each other. Moreover, it is the company or organization’s ideology and practices. Corporate culture usually encompasses the ways work and authority are organized, the ways people are rewarded and controlled, as well as organizational features such as customs, taboos, company slogans, heroes, and social rituals (Brickley, Smith, & Zimmerman, 2016, p. 366).
For the most part, organizational architecture and corporate culture intertwine with the architecture specifically determining how authority is divided up among employees, while corporate culture encompasses ways of rewarding employees.
