Sometimes teachers or instructors will display pictures of fruits and vegetables with their names in large print and explain the nutritional value of each. The goal is to make the children familiar on what different fruits and vegetables look like. In order to keep the children interested, half way through the session children will be served some slices of fruits and vegetables to taste based on what is in season. The second component of the nutrition intervention will be implemented five days a week, when school is in session. For this intervention, our certified nutritionist will meet with the head cook on a weekly basis to come up
