With the change of their mindset they all received the opportunity to change the stereotypes of racism and language, they try to stop what was identified as the social norms in they environment (i.g. Malcolm X being put down and rejected from class because of the stereotype of black people and them not being able to be taught anything) and prove them wrong (i.g. Malcolm X teaching himself how to read and write in prison by reading the dictionary and historical novels by Elijah Muhammad).
