Miracles and Naturalists
“Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters to large for some of us to see” C.S Lewis. Miracles are highly controversial topics because they are something quite out of the normal, something that is not natural but super natural. This paper will talk about the supernatural form of miracles in contrast with the thoughts of the Naturalists. But holding either view, that there are such things as miracles and there are not such things, brings its own cost, as like what Ernestine said “there are only two ways to live your life, one is as though nothing is a miracle, and the other is as though everything is a miracle.” The way men view miracles is not

This paper is not on the supernatural, but rather on the supernatural aspect of miracles. Miracles are actions clearly done in Gods power, for His glory, supernatural events are most often thought of satanic or demonic, which is not of God but of the devil. This paper is on God’s miracles on the work of the devil. Miracles are actions that defile the natural order of the universe, naturalists believe that the natural way of the universe is the only way, thus naturalists must either explain or ignore miracles. Life is in an order that cannot be broken, miracles break the natural order of things, thus Naturalists do not believe in miracles. Naturalists do not believe in the supernatural, but they must believe in God. Naturalists look at the Bible trough a view that says the impossible cannot happen, so thus they view half maybe over half of it as being fake or false. The Bible to them is unrealistic and not at all true. The whole premise of the Bible is miracles, thus we conclude, that naturalists do not hold the Bible to the truth. There are six miracles that every person, that God has made, must face. The first miracle that everyone must face is that of, non-life producing life. Naturalists believe in the Big-bang theory, the big bang theory is defined as: “A theory in astronomy: the universe originated billions of years ago in an explosion from a single point of nearly infinite energy density”. (Webster) This begs the question what started the explosion, if there was nothing at all? The second truth that everyone must face is that of, non-reason produces reason. How can something that is unreasonable produce reason? Reason is above everyone, reason cannot be made through something that has no reason. This also applies to the last four truths, unconsciousness produces consciousness, chaos produces order, randomness produces fine tuning, nothing produces everything.
