Narrative Essay One tremendously windy Monday morning, the sky shifted gloomy shades of grey above my home in the land of 10,000 lakes: Minnesota. My loathsome alarm yet again woke me with its vexatious sound, as it does Monday through Friday. It took me an unpleasant 30 minutes to get myself out of bed and into the shower. After showering and picking out a nice cozy outfit, I dashed upstairs to grab a quick breakfast before heading to an early choir rehearsal. In a surprisingly pleasant turn of events I noticed my loving mother had made me chocolate chip pancakes before she left for work at Canterbury Park. Making a regular appearance in my childhood, chocolate chip pancakes naturally became my all-time favorite breakfast. After devouring my delicious breakfast, I knew that it was going to be a fantastic morning. However, it was unlike my mother to make such a nice breakfast before her rushed morning so I thought perhaps something was out of the ordinary, but made the decision to embrace the delicious breakfast rather than question it. I grabbed a pancake and some juice to go and began my journey to school. Who knew that such a stressful, yet ordinary day would substantially impact the rest of my life. I sprinted to my car and started speeding as fast as I could to make it to choir rehearsal on time. It was the week of my high schools celebrate choir concert, so I knew sure as hell that I had no choice of being late. It was the most important concert of the year and…
