We were on a family vacation, but not any family vacation. There were 70 people on this trip. It was the summer of 2016, we went to Amman and decided to go to Aqaba. The hotel was packed with my family. Everywhere I go, I was positive that I won't get lost, because I was certain that I would find one of my family members somewhere. I felt safe and secure. They played, they swam, they did most of the activities that I was not able to do at that time because I sadly had my menstrual cycle.

A few days later, it was time for the ending of the entertainment in Aqaba but start the fun in Amman. Half of the people went on a big bus, but we went on a van. It was a typical family trip chaos. Everyone was rushing down the lobby, some were still checking

Halfway to the to the airport, my cousin asked a very important question that surprisingly none of us that were in the van thought of. “ Mom where is my little sister?” 5 second later... “STOP THE CAR” at that moment I felt as if I was in one of the scenes in a home alone. “She isn’t on the other bus, right?” said my aunt, trying to deny the fact that she forgot her own daughter. This time, we went back for the second time hoping it's our last, we were risking on missing our flight at that point. We called many people in the hotel, my dad went down running to look for her. We thought she was lost, but after all of the panicking and running around like headless chickens, at last, we found her. Her eyes started to well up with tears knowing that she did something wrong and she felt ashamed, guilty since we told her to stick by our sides and not to go anywhere. The security man requested for everybody’s passport. We all started getting them out, “NO NO THIS COULDNT BE HAPPENING” my father yelled trying to wake up from this horrible nightmare. He kicked the vans door open and rushed around it to open the back door and check if it was in our luggage. He took each bad in the middle of the road and started digging in the bags willing to find the passports. Unfortunately, none of ours were found. We were terrified and filled with panic. My father started calling people in the hotel including the manager, to look everywhere, while the security men were confused and waiting for something to happen. One of the staff found it in the safe by entering the passcode my father told him, and we went back for the third time. We arrived and did everything swiftly.
