Saturday Morning: Wow… I slowly turn in circles looking around. All the buildings are huge and there are so many people. I am standing on the corner of W 47th street and Broadway, standing in front of a Starbucks. I should probably find a hotel.. I pull my phone out of my pocket and pull up google maps. I find the Night Time Square right down the road just past 7th Ave is only about $88 a night, so I grip the straps of my backpack and start walking. I walk past the Phantom of Broadway store and take a quick peek inside and notice all of the broadway shirts and other things, I make a mental note to stop there before I leave. I turn and continue to walk I stop and look up at the sign on the outside. I sigh in relief and walk into the bright lobby and take notice of the underwater theme. It’s quite beautiful, the chandeliers are shaped like sea anemones with multi colored lights shining off the wooden walls near them and they have tanks with fish roaming around in them. I talk to the man at the counter and pay for my four night stay here then tip the bellhop $20. I got up to my room and order some lunch from room service which costed me about $27. I went online and purchased my three broadway tickets. I first purchased my Les Misérables ticket for $91.12 which was at the Imperial Theatre. Second I bought my Phantom of the Opera ticket for $39.44 at the Majestic Theatre. And lastly I bought my Hamilton ticket for about $106.98 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. I had the first show at 8:00pm, so I headed back to my hotel room to change for the show. I take the short walk over the the Imperial Theatre. I glance up at the shining sign above the door and grin. I walk forward with my head held high and give the attendant my ticket. The theatre was stunning, the color scheme was red and gold. Two large crystal chandeliers hung from the high ceilings in center of the room. I find my seat which is in the front mezzanine, It’s the front most middle seat. I take off my coat and put it on the velvet seat and sit down admiring the view until the lights slowly lower and I heard the orchestra start to tune. After the show I go out and get dinner at the Evergreen diner right next to the hotel. I buy a turkey b.l.t wrap for $12.95, A cup of warm tea for $2.75 and a small bowl of soup for $5.25.
