Behavior management is a practical guide line that was develop for both preschool teachers and parents of preschoolers. I strongly believe that we owe children to be in a safe and effective learning environment. In most cases discipline problems are minimized when students are engaged in fun and interesting activities. The Behavior management guide line gives the teacher and some cases parents the tools to implement activities that will re-direct the student behavior in the classroom, in some cases preventing aggressiveness, and interruption in the class. It is important for teachers to be consistent, flexible and to always think out of the box, by implementing activities that will prevent that type of behavior. Therefore, I believe that students do best with positive reinforcement techniques, and it is the teacher responsibility to reinforce rules, creating a structure and limits in the classroom as a way of preventing behavior issues in the classroom.
