My Personal Note On My Family Values Essay

I was born in West Warwick Rhode Island and was raised in Rhode Island for my elementary years and middle school and high school years I was in Connecticut. My background has shaped who I am today because I have values that I cherish. I am Irish, French and Italian. I personally value my Irish heritage. My family has always been very close, and has allowed for each of us to grow into who we want to be. I believe my greatest strength is my family values, family always comes first. My greatest weakness would be that I am too giving; what I mean by that is that I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, even if they have hurt me in the past.
Prior to enrolling in Grand Canyon University I was at the University of Phoenix, and prior to that was high school; Plainfield High in Central Village, CT. I enjoyed that I could go to school online at the University of Phoenix; however I did not like how their curriculum was setup, nor did I enjoy being treated as a number. When I was in high school I took a drafting class taught by Mr. Drapchawe. Mr. Drapchawe was my favorite teacher; he was patient, kind and someone I could really look up too. I decided to enroll in Grand Canyon University after doing some research on online schools. Upon doing my research I realized that I could get a better experience, better education (my opinion), and pay less for the credits.
