I am sierra. I come from many places, but many of them from Oklahoma. My family was one that was always based on God. So, I grew up in a love natured home, and although that sounds ideal, it didn’t end to be that way. Growing up in a God filled home shaped me to become the women I am today. I loved the years of my childhood and teenage years, and I loved the people in it. Throughout it I learned many life lessons, such as how to be independent and love God and family. It taught me many things. One of my strengths would be knowing how to be strong in front of people, especially during hard times. Another strength is the love and compassion I have for people, even when they do me wrong. One of my weaknesses consist of being over sensitive to the littlest things. Another weakness I possess is not listening or paying attention to people well.

He achieved success in his field by experiencing the ability to help people in another country and here in the United States. He went through many hardships that shaped him into who he is today. In the next 10 years I plan to be working within my field and raising a family, and hopefully be moved back to Oklahoma. In the next 20 years I honestly don’t know where I will be, just wherever God leads me. Being a psychologist aids in getting people back on their feet, by helping them overcome obstacles in their life. This is how I will be positively contributing to society. Success to me is the ability to achieve goals, even when you face many struggles to get there. I will know I have achieved success when I am where I want to be and happy, because it will be then I know have overcome a multitude of

A weakness that I have is that I do not know how to say no to individuals that ask me for help since I love to help people. It is important that I learn to say no when helping others gets in the way of me accomplishing my tasks. It is important that I do both, but not when I run the risk of not meeting my deadlines and me staying late hours after work to get my work done. It has not been an easy task saying no, but I am learning to be okay with saying no because it is important that it does not interfere with my responsibilities.…

There are approximately 397,000 children in foster care in the United States of America currently and I used to be one of them. However, foster had not even been near the forefront of my mind that summer. The summer before I started my first year of high school, I had plenty of anxiety about the tall tale I invented in my own mind that stood before me. Stories about how hard high school were numerous and often regaled on the crowded bus ride home by high schoolers who seemed to have the knowledge of every wise teacher in history combined. which that scared me to death; I had always held my position as a good student who followed the rules of my middle school.…

    A. Autobiographical Statement My mother was the first and only person in her family to graduate from college, which has always been an inspiration to me. She was an abused wife on food stamps, raising two children on her own while my father was incarcerated. I will always remember when she told me that life was like a lotus flower; we may start by growing in the mud but each day we can choose to bloom above the water into a beautiful flower. It was then that I understood my childhood was not my choice, but how I choose to live the rest of my life was. My mother never wavered in her faith that if I wanted to do something in my life the only thing that could hold me back was myself.…
