My Best Friend

The individual that provide no value to my life would have to be some of old high school buddies. Even before graduation I always knew that I wanted to leave the valley, however, some of my old friends did not think the same way that I did. So graduation came along and I sticked to my plan of leaving the valley and got accepted to UTSA and while I was happy about my accomplishment some of my friends hadn’t even applied to universities. At the time I really didn’t care if they did or not they were my friends and that didn’t matter. Time passed by and little by little we started losing contact. I only really talk to my best friends from back home and the others started fading away. I visit home every once and a while and I find those people doing the same thing as they did in high school. They still worked at a fast food place really not making much money and they money they did made they spent it all on the weekend getting drunk. They still lived with their parents and some of them where neither working nor going to school. None of the activities that they do have no value to me …show more content…
He is my best friend. He is someone who has been with me in the good and in the bad. He is the person that I consider family and I know his family consider me part of theirs as well. Besides my family I know he will be with me till the end. However, I can’t forget my mom, dad, brothers, and sister. I have always been known as the mommas boy in the family but know that I went off to college my fathers and I relationships has grown a lot and I love it we are really close. The same can be said about my sister. We have a good relationship and she can be cold hearted at times but when she opens up and we actually talk those are the moments I cherish the most.
