Biography of My Brother, Billy Sprayberry
In my family there are six kids. There are three girls and two boys. My brother, Billy Sprayberry, being child number three. Growing up and still to this day he and I are very close. He is one of the best people that you will come across. He is my brother, my best friend. Billy has a heart of gold and will do most anything for most anybody. We had a great childhood and he has a great adulthood. He has went from being a son and brother to a father figure, marine, husband, and father.
Growing up there was five of us kids. Two being my dad’s from a previous marriage, older two girls. Now yes in the beginning I said family of six kids, be patient and I will get to where the sixth child came in. Billy was the only boy having four sisters. He learned about things from us girls that he had no interest in learning but we ganged up on him and held him down forced him to listen. Even though we did those things to him, he was always the best brother. I can remember him sitting for hours brushing our hair, he even learned to braid. He loved us girls, but wanted nothing more than to have a brother. My mom had a tubal after giving birth to my sister, who was her third child. As years had passed in 1996 my parents adopted a baby boy. We was all so over joyed. Billy was no longer the only boy. We was all in our teens and my parents was starting all over with a newborn. He had a rough start with our dad going to prison and him feeling like he had to step to take his place, but in the end it all paid off.
