One of the most important things that you can do in your life is set goals. Without goals, you would live a life with basically no purpose; you would have no direction to follow and no ambition to strive for success. Goal setting is what gives a person short-term motivation and long-term vision. Throughout my life I have set many goals, but the goals I would like to make during college, or my short-term goals, are to become more organize and to stay healthy. My long-term goals would be to graduate from STLCOP and become pharmacist with a stable job, and to stay true to myself. The transition from high school to college is a difficult one that most people do not like to make. Coming from high school where everything is a blow off, to coming to college where it is essential to pay attention and study can take a while for one to get used to. Although I have already gone through my transition phase, my goal is to become more organized because I believe it will make my transition, or college experience, more enjoyable and less stressful. In order to achieve my goal of becoming organized, there are many things I can do. One of the most helpful things that will help me to stay organized is to keep a planner. In this planner, I will write out all my homework assignments, essay due dates, quiz dates, exam dates, social events, and sporting events.
