As a CIO there are seven attributes that stand out when having a CIO part of the staff. CIO sets vision and strategy by communicating with CFO and CEO in coming to a conclusion on how technology can best serve its purpose in their healthcare setting. Being able to integrate latest technology for better business. Having an understanding of organizations system, structure and function when researching new technologies that will provide the best care that it might need. Making a change in such large facility such as Meadow Hill Hospital can be risky and costly but CIO must make the move in order to better assist the current users and implement their best knowledge when it comes to latest technology.
